Built by a Wrestler.
For Wrestlers.

Spencer grew up a high school wrestler who loved the sport more than anything. He came from a small town where wrestling wasn't a priority, and the path to college athletics wasn't clearly laid out. His coaches and parents supported him, but like many families, they simply didn't have the knowledge or experience to navigate the recruiting process.

After high school, Spencer stayed close to the sport. He became a certified strength coach and continued to invest in his own development, eventually earning a spot on a college wrestling staff where he worked his way into an assistant coaching role. There, his primary responsibility became recruiting.

He met countless athletes who were talented enough to wrestle at the next level — but had no idea how to get there.

Over the next several years, as he helped build a college program, Spencer noticed a pattern that stuck with him. Some athletes came from families where college had never been the expectation. Others doubted whether they were "good enough." Many simply didn't know how to reach out to coaches or take the first step.

It felt familiar — because he had been in their exact position not long before.

Spencer knew what it was like to have the drive, the work ethic, and the ability — but not the roadmap. He also knew how frustrating it was to feel like opportunities existed, but were just out of reach because no one had shown you how the system worked.

That's what led him to build Ludus Recruiting.

Ludus Recruiting is designed for athletes who are willing to work, but need direction. It's a straightforward, honest course that breaks down the recruiting process step by step — how to get noticed, how to communicate with coaches, and how to create real opportunities at the next level. Spencer built it to be accessible — priced around what you'd pay for a quality pair of wrestling shoes — because he believes this information shouldn't be locked behind expensive, impersonal services that overpromise and underdeliver.

The name "Ludus" comes from Ancient Rome. It means "school" — a place of learning, development, and preparation. Historically, a ludus was where gladiators trained — where they sharpened their skills, built discipline, and prepared to step into the arena.

That idea still holds true.

Because at their core, wrestlers are modern-day gladiators. They train in silence, endure more than most, and step into competition where there's nowhere to hide — just preparation, grit, and the will to win.

Ludus is where that preparation begins.

Become the man in the arena.
